Back to School 2023
The first day of school is Thursday, September 7, 2023.
For those families that are returning to PS 151K, our school commences at 8:10 a.m. Our Weirfield Street door “2” will open at 7:35 a.m. to ensure students arrive to their classes on time.
We are a uniform wearing school. All students are to wear their school uniform: light blue shirt and navy-blue pants/skirts, daily. Please support us by ensuring your child has his/her uniform on every day. All pants/skirts must be knee-length or longer, and the shoes are to have rubber soles and remain securely on the child's feet.
On September 7th, our 3K and 4K pre-kindergarten students are to enter via the main entrance located on Knickerbocker Avenue by 8:10 a.m. Our 3K and 4K pre-kindergarten students’ parents will have parent orientation at 9:30 a.m. Our Kindergarten students are to enter via the Weirfield Street entrance for breakfast. Parents of our kindergarten students will have parent orientation at 11:10 a.m.
We are a wellness school. Please only send your child to school with healthy snacks and 100% fruit juice. Keep the potato chips, candy, taki chips, soda, etc. home for special occasions.
Our school day for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will end at 2:30 p.m. Kindly arrange for your child / children to be picked up on time.
